As a local and security coordinator, you will be a key person in the effort to enhance the quality of our properties while ensuring that the needs of operations are met in the best possible way.

Here, you will combine strategic security work with local planning in a role that makes a difference.

Your responsibilities

The position includes two main areas of responsibility: security in properties and projects as well as local planning and coordination. In both areas, you will develop and establish structured working methods that support the long-term goals of the operations.

A central part of the assignment is to gradually build up a systematic and well-functioning working method and to ensure that established processes and routines are followed.

Security in properties and projects:

In this part of the position, you will play a central role in shaping a clear and sustainable direction for security work within the property owner responsibility and projects of the Technical and Property Committee. You will ensure that our environments are safe by developing design guidelines, managing the authorization process, and working proactively with, for example, safety rounds.

You will also be the hub of the work with strategic security solutions, from video surveillance to perimeter protection. When incidents occur, you will analyze what happened, provide support for police reports, and ensure that the organization learns and develops. Through close dialogue and smart training initiatives, you will increase knowledge and safety in our operations.

Local planning and local coordination:

In this part of the position, you will step in and ensure that the needs of the operations translate into functional local solutions. You will lead needs analyses, transform ideas and requirements into well-functioning local solutions, and ensure that everything from local adjustments to relocations runs smoothly. Furthermore, you will ensure that routines in the local supply process are followed.

You will be part of the Management Support Unit within the Technical and Property Management. Here, we work with HR, quality, security, registration, communication, local coordination, digitization, and system management. We are a driven and self-sufficient team with various specialist skills who enjoy collaborating when our areas intersect. You will also be part of the management's security team and are expected to lead a staff during a crisis.

Your qualifications

As a person, you are particularly passionate about the synergies between security and local planning. You enjoy creating structure and order in complex issues and ensure that the work is completed on time and with good quality. You follow rules and routines and handle sensitive information with care. When problems arise, you find solutions that consider the whole, while being able to dive into details when necessary. You are confident in your field, enjoy many different points of contact, and like to collaborate with others for mutual compliance.

Requirements:

• 3 years of experience in property-related security work.
• Relevant post-secondary education, such as engineering education in construction, property, or community building, YH education as a security coordinator or property engineer. Alternatively, you have longer documented experience in property-related security work.
• The position requires proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written, as well as the ability to communicate in English.

Desirable:

• Experience in similar roles within the public sector, property companies, or FM organizations.
• Experience in specifying and reviewing physical security solutions in construction/renovation projects, including fire protection.
• Involvement in procurement according to LOU of security systems or contracts.
• Experience in crisis preparedness and security protection.
• Good understanding of BBR/PBL in practice and fire protection documentation (BBR 5:12) in projects.
• Advanced courses/certifications in camera surveillance law, GDPR, procurement with security requirements, and basic IT/OT security in property systems.
